Breaking The Veil Of Silence

The Veil of Silence concerns you more than you think!

You come across it at every turn, whether in your personal life, in your family, in your church or congregation, or in your cities and nations. The Veil of Silence is the reason for inner coldness, loneliness, and the sense of being lost in darkness. Once you break it, you will be able to receive the immeasurable blessing of God and the authority to change your surroundings with His love.

Every nation carries its own burden of guilt and trauma that is passed down through the generations, while a Veil of Silence prevents reconciliation, healing, and restoration.

The German pastor, theologian, and activist, Jobst Bittner, writes in the light of the experience of German history. Hitler and the Holocaust caused a spiritual eclipse in Germany and covered entire generations with a Veil of Silence. Today, Germany is blessed and the country of "unmerited grace". If Breaking the Veil of Silence was possible in Germany, how much more so in your life, family, and nation?

Through a captivating blend of history, theology, and psychology, Jobst Bittner provides a brave, discerning perspective on this Veil of Silence and proves that the weight of history can be lifted. It is a powerful and practical intervention and spiritual guide to reclaim our authority by uprooting all destructive tendencies of covering up the past, uncovering our own family history, rediscovering the Jewish roots of our faith, and moving forward into action.

Once the veil is lifted, true healing, restoration, and change can begin.

"Breaking the Veil Silence is an instrument of God to awaken believers to the task at hand, the task of boldly speaking the truth. Read this book and become equipped to be a bold warrior for righteousness."

Paul Wilbur, Recording Artist

“Jobst and Charlotte Bittner pastor TOS Ministries in Tuebingen, Germany with such vision and anointing that all of Europe is beginning to take notice!  Read these words carefully and prayerfully; I believe Dietrich Bonhoeffer would be pleased to call Jobst Bittner a friend.”

Rabbi Marty Waldmann

"As the son of Holocaust survivors it is a distinct honor to recommend Pastor Jobst Bittner's book Breaking the Veil of Silence. This is more than an amazing, 'must read' book; Jobst, his family and his church are living letters who testify to the authenticity of every word written.

Tom Hess, Mount of Olives, Jerusalem House of Prayer for All Nations

"In this book, Jobst gives a clarion call for the Church to stand like Esther to not remain silent. May the message of this book go far and wide throughout the whole earth. It is a must for anyone who needs strengthening to break through the darkness and not remain silent."

Professor Jeffrey L. Seif, University Distinguished Professor of Bible and Jewish Studies, Kings University

"Few men have done so much, with so little, in so short an amount of time, as has Pastor Jobst Bittner. His ideas are a challenge to anyone who claims biblical virtue, rooted as they are in biblical text and not just in the soil of his own earthly experience. I know the man and the message and am pleased to commend both."

Ted Pearce, Musician

â€žHear how a city known for anti-Semitism is leading the world in breaking the silence of indifference today! This is one of the most important books of our time.”

Dr. Michael L. Brown

"This book is a call to dig deeper and to move forward into wholeness, freedom, and life."

Benjamin Berger, Jerusalem

"It was 'high time' for such a book to appear. I am deeply grateful to our Lord for inspiring Jobst Bittner to write this book. It has already brought forth much fruit for God's people and Kingdom."

From a reader

I finished the book. I could not lay it back down again once I got over the initial "bluntness" of it all. I actually woke up in the middle of the night the other day because I had somewhat of a nightmare after reading it late at night. I think this book touches areas in my life more than I am aware. You were right and it does have a redemptive ending. I have been deeply touched by the stories and all the action Jobst has undertaken to bring restitution and healing. It might sound ironic, but at first the book left me speechless. And now I am just deeply moved by its message and the hope it gives. It makes me realize how much the Holocaust affected my family and I feel overwhelmed as I do not know if I am able to confront this topic as openly as Jobst does (being really honest here). I did not think breaking the silence could make such a positive difference. I want my parents and my brother to read it as well. I think it will effect them just as much if not even more so.

From a Reader

Hi, much love to you all. The book: The veil of silence is going around.

Never heard such profound insights about the Holocaust, perpetrators and victims alike. And the impact it made/makes on the generations after.

AND the healing and reconciliation that IS possible. I have seen it with my own eyes. VERY, VERY good. Sharing it with as many as I can.

Read this and become equipped to be a bold warrior for righteousness!
